Palestine refugees began their long journey in 1948. Since the beginning of the Arab-Israeli conflict, these people have endured multiple displacements, repeated violence, occupation and blockade. Through these hardships, the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) has been there to provide critical education, health care, micro-finance, relief and social services, and emergency assistance for those displaced by the conflict.
